What we collect and why

When you book: your name, email, phone number, party details and dates, to confirm and provide your stay and meet legal obligations. When you message us by WhatsApp or email: what you write, to answer you. When you visit the site: technical data your browser sends (such as your IP address), to deliver the pages securely.

Payments

Card, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach this website.

Statistics

Only if you agree in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records statistics about how the site is used, to help us improve it. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Cookies

Essential cookies remember your cookie choice for six months and keep checkout secure. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.

Who else receives data

Hostinger (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google (statistics, with consent), WhatsApp/Meta (only if you message us that way), and OpenStreetMap (map images load from its servers). Stripe and Google may process data in the USA, under recognised safeguards such as the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal obligations

Where the law requires it, guest details are passed to the local authorities for the tourist tax.

How long we keep data

Incomplete checkouts are deleted after 30 days. Bookings are kept as long as accounting and tax law require.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to us on WhatsApp or by email; the details are in the legal notice. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your data protection authority in the EU.
