Ticino Stays
How booking works.
The rules for every stay, in plain words.Booking and payment
You pay the full amount when you book, by TWINT, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe. Card numbers never reach this website.
The booking is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. The confirmation email shows the house, the dates, the guests and the total, with the links to manage your stay.
The price
The total you see before paying is the total you pay: the nights, cleaning, the tourist tax, any pet fee and any discount. The shortest stay is 3 nights, and stays of 7 nights or more are 10% cheaper on the accommodation.
Cancellation
Standard: full refund within 24 hours of booking when arrival is at least 7 days away, then 50% of the accommodation back until 30 days before arrival; within 30 days the accommodation is not refunded. If you cancel before arrival, the cleaning and pet fees always come back.
Non-refundable: 10% cheaper on the accommodation, with the same 24 hours to change your mind and no refund after that.
You cancel from the link in your confirmation email; the page shows the refund before you confirm. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Changing your stay
To change dates or guests, use the link in your confirmation email. You see the new price before you send the request, and nothing changes until Carlos confirms. With the non-refundable rate the dates can’t be changed.
Arrival and departure
Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. Every house has self check-in; the directions and the access code arrive after booking.
In the house
Each house sleeps the number of guests shown on its page. Children count toward that number; one baby under 2 doesn’t (Gordemo can’t take babies). One pet is welcome in the houses that accept pets, with the pet fee. Each house’s own rules are on its page, under Good to know.
Please give the real number of guests and a phone number Carlos can reach, and follow the house’s access notes.
Your data
Your details are used for your booking and for what the law requires, such as the tourist tax.
