This small restored rustico is built for two people who would rather wake to a trail than traffic. Local wood and Onsernone stone keep the mountain character intact, while the new kitchen, wooden dining nook, wood stove, television and 104 Mbps Wi-Fi make the compact interior practical. The king-size bedroom and private bathroom are upstairs and are reached by an external staircase. Outside, the private patio, sun loungers and barbecue look towards the surrounding forest and mountain landscape. The Sassariente trail begins at the gate, with a pond and stone fountain a short walk away. Reaching Monti Motti is part of the experience. There is no public transport, the final mountain road is narrow and the free parking area is approximately 150 metres from the house. The road closes and the property is inaccessible from mid-November through March, so this is a seasonal stay best suited to guests comfortable with mountain access.
