A warm timber-and-stone lodge for four, tucked into one of Ticino’s wildest valleys for fireplace evenings and river-bright mornings.

This is for travellers who want to be inside the mountains, not simply look at them. The road narrows, the air cools and the valley takes over. Hike by day, barbecue as the light fades, then gather around the fireplace for a long dinner while the river runs below.

Access is by mountain road. Winter access can be affected by heavy snowfall, so guests should check conditions before travelling.

House rules

Simple expectations.

  • Check-out by 10:00.
  • Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00.
  • Maximum occupancy: 4 guests.
  • One dog is welcome when added to the booking.

Cancellation and payment

Secure direct payment

The complete displayed amount is paid through Stripe. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by this website.

Confirmation

A reservation is created only after successful payment. The confirmation page and email include the property, dates, guests and complete paid total.

Cancellation summary

Full refund within 24 hours of booking when arrival is at least seven days away. Afterwards, 50% of accommodation is refunded at least 30 days before arrival; within 30 days accommodation is non-refundable. Unused cleaning and pet fees are returned before check-in.

Carlos has hosted stays in Ticino since 2019. Expect clear arrival guidance, local knowledge and practical support from the person responsible for the homes.
