Set among the historic lanes and old houses of Vira Gambarogno, this two-storey bohemian home is a relaxed base for discovering Lake Maggiore. The entire house is reserved for your group. On the ground floor, the equipped kitchen and dining area make shared meals easy; upstairs are the king bedroom, a home-cinema living room with a 140 cm sofa bed, and the first-floor balcony. At the private beach, a granite dining table, barbecue, stand-up paddleboard and kayak set the scene for long lake days. Two bicycles are also provided for exploring the area. Practical comforts include a Nespresso machine, washer and dryer, bathtub with shower, heating and an indoor fireplace. Netflix on the 100-inch home-cinema screen gives rainy days and quiet evenings their own appeal, while 135 Mbps Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace make longer or working stays more comfortable. The house is in the historic village of Vira Gambarogno, among narrow lanes and traditional houses. The house is a good base for exploring Gambarogno, Locarno and the lake region by car.

Access and arrival

Self check-in is available through a lockbox. The house, parking and lakeside area are separate: plan to walk approximately 600 metres and carry what you need between them. Exact arrival and access instructions are sent after booking.

Payment & confirmation

The complete displayed amount is paid through Stripe. Available payment methods are shown securely by Stripe and payment details are not stored by this website.

A reservation is created only after successful payment. The confirmation page and email include the property, dates, guests and complete paid total.

Cancellation policy

Full refund within 24 hours of booking when arrival is at least seven days away. Afterwards, 50% of accommodation is refunded at least 30 days before arrival; within 30 days accommodation is non-refundable. Unused cleaning and pet fees are returned before check-in.

Optional non-refundable rate
Save 10% on accommodation when you choose the non-refundable rate. The same 24-hour free-cancellation grace period applies when the booking is made at least 7 days before arrival; after that this rate is non-refundable. Fees and extras are not discounted. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
